The long gestating big screen version of The Simpsons will hit theaters in 2007!
A 25 second teaser trailer for the film is attached to Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. And in fact, cast member Harry Shearer, who provides the voice for Montgomery Burns, Waylon Smithers, neighbor Ned Flanders among others, said last week that work is already being done on the flick to meet a next summer release date.

Meanwhile, America's longest running animated series will continue its extraordinary TV run, having just been renewed by the FOX Broadcast Network for two more seasons.
