Rosario Dawson (pictured) has signed to join Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan in "Eagle Eye," the D.J. Caruso-directed DreamWorks thriller.
LaBeouf and Monaghan play characters who form an unlikely alliance after they're framed as terrorists and become members of a cell that plans to carry out a political assassination. Dawson plays a young government agent hot on their tail. Pic begins production this fall.
...Hillary Seitz wrote the most recent draft, and Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing with Pat Crowley and Ed McDonnell ...
I just saw Disturbia on DVD (I will post some sort of review soon) and thought Caruso, LaBeouf, et al did a good job on that film--Given the topical premise of "Eye" I look forward to checking out what the team comes up with for the new thriller...
Dawson and Monaghan make for fine additions to the film.
