Variety tells us that after a 3 year hiatus from directing feature films-Wes Craven (pictured) is now ready to jump back into the fray:
Rogue Pictures is prepping the thriller "25/8" which will have Craven pulling double duty as director and writer for the first time since 1994's "Wes Craven's New Nightmare".
The film centers on a serial killer who turns up 15 years after his purported death, to kill the seven children born on that fateful night.
Craven tells the big V:
"It's more a thriller than slasher film, and revolves around a young kid with a very dark past involving his family and his father"
A production start for April is planned...
Scream and its 2 sequels dealt (in a very light way) a child dealing with dark secrets of the past...I loved Craven's last directed flick Red Eye. I'm looking forward to seeing what he cooks up.
