Responding to one more such rumor High School Musical 3: Senior Year star Zac Efron told MTV News that he has never been approached for a role in the next sequel, rumored to be the son of Will and Elizabeth.
“No one has talked to me about it," Efron says. “I didn’t even know [about it].”
Wouldn't Efron be a bit too old to play the son of characters who are just about 10 years older? Still it could be done I suppose...And I'm sure Disney wouldn't mind if Efron stuck around the studio after "School"
He added “...cross your fingers for me guys!”
