Universal Pictures has agreed to make Mike Sobel's The Towering Inferno-esque disaster epic "Skyscraper" says Variety.The story centers on a Donald Trump-type developer sets out to build a mile-high structure in the City of Chicago When the tower starts to falter, a crew must mount a rescue effort.
Ah! Memories of those old fashioned star-studded disaster flicks of the 70's--I hope this one turns out better than the '06 Poseidon-a remake of The Poseidon Adventure fron 1972.
