Coming off his role in The Dark Knight--Aaron Eckhart is attached to star in the sci-fi action epic "Battle: Los Angeles" according to The Hollywood Reporter.The story concerns a Marine platoon's encounter in the battle on the streets of Los Angeles against an alien invasion. Eckhart will play the platoon leader.
Jonathan Liebesman is directing from a Christopher Bertolini script .
Eckhart has experience with apocalyptic sci-fi and his turn in the The Core...Let's just hope this one is a bit more entertaining than that lopsided effort was
