Single Double

Nicholas Hoult and Ginnifer Goodwin have joined the cast of Tom Ford's first film "A Single Man" says The Hollywood Reporter.

It's an adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's 1964 book of the same name.

Goodwin will play Mrs. Strunk, a suburban mom who doesn't share her husband's dislike of their neighbor, a gay professor (Colin Firth)

Hoult will play Kenny, a sexually ambiguous grad student who shows an interest in the professor.

The film focuses on a day in the life of the professor after his long-term partner (Matthew Goode) dies in a car crash.

Ford adapted the script with David Scearce.

Hoult and Goodwin are well known for provocative television roles. Both seem well suited for this flick.

Production starts this week in Los Angeles.
