Shia LaBeouf will star in the film adaptation of John Grisham's newest legal thriller " The Associate"reports Variety.LaBeouf will play a student who's about to graduate from Yale Law School being manipulated into accepting a job at a prestigous law firm and given privileged information about a multi billion-dollar lawsuit.
Wow! Until now LaBeouf's stayed away from anything too dramatic--It will be interesting to see how he does here...
The novel is Grisham's first legal thriller since 2005's "The Broker" and hits stores in January.
