The story follows a real estate agent assigned to clean up a massacre that took place in a mansion he hopes to sell. He is visited by a twisted old man who draws the agent into a web of shadows, murders and massacres.
"After taking over the Saw franchise for so long and then directing Mother's Day based on the original film, this is exciting because it is an original concept and we feel it could be a huge franchise," Bousman told the trade.
Bousman and Michael Peterson will produce the picture and came up with the concept for a graphic novel to be unveiled at Comic-Con 2009
Call me nuts but the new film sounds really cool....
