George Gallo, who wrote such action comedies as "Bad Boys" and "Midnight Run" will sit in the big chair for the upcoming indie thriller "Columbus Circle" says The Hollywood Reporter.

A reclusive heiress (Selma Blair) who lives in an upscale Manhattan apartment building is forced-to-face with her fears when a detective (Giovanni Ribisi) shows up to investigate a homicide next door and the new couple (Amy Smart, Jason Lee) that moves in to that apartment.

Actor Kevin Pollak who co-wrote the script with Gallo, plays the building's concierge and one of the heiress' few friends.
