Virginia Madsen will star opposite Kevin Spacey as his ex-wife in the indie comedy "Father of Invention" according to Variety.A humble inventor-turned-ego maniacal billionaire (Spacey) loses it all when one of his inventions goes horribly awry.After eight years in federal prison, he returns to discover his ex-wife (Madsen) has spent his fortune and remarried.
Craig Robinson, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville and Camilla Belle also star.
Trent Cooper directs from a script he co-wrote with Jonathan Krane and Nicole Beatty.
After paying the bills in The Haunting in Connecticut--It's nice to see Madsen in a top tier project again.
