Gruffudd Is A Toad

Ioan Gruffudd has joined the biopic of author Kenneth Grahame titled Banking on Mr. Toad says Variety

The story chronicles Grahame's journey from his job as the secretary of the Bank of England during the era of industrialization at the end of the 19th century to his writing of the classic children's book The Wind In The Willows

The story also explores Grahame's relationship with his autistic son.

Samantha Morton is in talks to play the author's wife Elspeth.

The film is to be directed by Driving Miss Daisy's Bruce Beresford from a script by Timothy W. Haas and Wendy Oberman.

Filming kicks off in Ireland later this year.
