Mind Melding @ SDCC '09

The gang over at io9 spoke with Star Trek writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman who were out and about in San Diego--enjoying the party scene of Comic-Con 2009--where the duo revealed what the future may hold for the Enterprise crew.



The next two Star Trek movies may be all part of a single story arc. They were quick to add though that nothing’s been decided on yet.

“It was really about, hmmm. You know what, I'll give you a tidbit. [They said to us] 'We thought maybe you could do that as like 2 and 3.’”

Trek did that once before with the original series in Star Trek:II (pictured)-Star Trek IV...

Meanwhile-Zoe Saldana, who played Uhura in J.J. Abrams Trek said during a SDCC interview while promoting Avatar that the next script is halfway written...

Whatever the case, arc no arc however far along the team really is--Just make sure it's a good script..
