Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall will star with Ben Affleck in The Town, a film being directed by Affleck and produced by Graham King (The Departed) reports THR.An adaptation of Chuck Hogan's novel "Prince of Thieves" the story follows the relationship between a bank manager (Hall), a career criminal (Ben Affleck) who falls for her during a robbery, and a dedicated federal agent (Hamm) trying to bust him. The agent sees her as his golden ticket to catching the baddie, Boston's most infamous bank robber.
Hogan has adapted his own book for the screen, aided and abetted by Peter King and with a polish from Affleck.
Production will begin in Boston starting next monthworking around Hamm's TV gig--AMC 's Mad Men.
