Eager Beavers

Summit Entertainment is negotiating to land worldwide rights to the Jodie Foster's dark comedy The Beaver says Variety.

In the pic-Mel Gibson plays a depressed man who finds solace in wearing a beaver hand-puppet. Foster will not only direct--she will play the role of the man's wife.

Kyle Killen wrote the script

Production starts in late September in New York.
