Ketai and original Night creator Steve Niles developed the story which takes place in Los Angeles and focuses on Stella Oleson, (Melissa George in the first film) With the help of a group of vampire hunters, Stella intentionally draws vampires out in the open in order to avenge the death of her husband Eben, (played by Josh Hartnett) to get revenge on Lilith, the vampire responsible for the Alaskan attack seen in the first film.
George will NOT return, the role will be recast.
Ketai wrote the 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails and Dust to Dust webisodes that helped promote the first outing.
Shooting kicks off this October in Vancouver.
I'm tellin' ya.. The first pic is better than most people think...Kinda stinks that the sequel lost George and will likely go straight to DVD...RENT the 1st pic--it's worth it...
