Energy To Spare

Sony Pictures has picked up Lucy Prebble's play E.N.R.O.N. dramatising the rise and fall of the Texas energy company of the same name says Variety.



The play traces the company's origins and Enron scandalous accounting practices that made Enron into an giant of industry that at one time employed 22,000 people and reported $111 billion in revenues before it's end

The play opened this month in London's Royal Court and its run through November is already sold-out. A NYC run of the show stateside kicks off in the Spring.

Laura Ziskin will produce the film and Prebble returns to write the script.
