Art house diector Noah Baumback--whose film Greenberg is in theaters making noise--is set to replace Ron Howard on The Emperor's Children says The Wrap.
Baumbach adapted the script from Claire Messud's 2006 best-selling novel. The story is set in 2001 and follows three East Coast Ivy League grads approaching their thirties with trepidation. Soon an idealistic college dropout makes some decisions that will change the lives of the trio forever.
Eric Bana, Richard Gere and Keira Knightley are attached to star.
Howard is still attached to produce the pic with Brian Grazer..
Filming kicks off this summer.
