Director Paul Greengrass is in talks to take on the 3-D remake of Fantastic Voyage says Variety.
The original Fantastic Voyage, a sci-fi classic from 1966 followed a group of scientists miniaturized and inserted into another man's bloodstream to save a life.
Shane Salerno will write the new script.
The plan is to use the same technology used by James Cameron for Avatar and Cameron will likely produce.
The choice of Greengrass is interesting given his unique filming style--quick editing and seemingly always moving camera--which may be at odds over the tech required
