Anton Yelchin (Terminator Salvation, Star Trek) is in negotiations to star in the remake of 1985 vampire cult classic " Fright Night" says Variety. Yelchin would be Charley Brewster, (originally played by William Ragsdale)--who is convinced his new neighbor is a vampire and recruits the help of a classic horror actor turned rundown cable show host (might I suggest William Shatner or Frank Langella?) to help him prove it.
Craig Gillespie ("Lars and the Real Girl," "Mr. Woodcock") is in talks to direct from Veteran "Buffy" writer Marti Noxon's updated script.
Mike De Luca and Alison Rosenzweig will produce the flick
