Ready To Pop

Greenberg writer/director Noah Baumbach and star Ben Stiller are in talks to re-team on an adaptation of the 1938 children's novel "Mr. Popper's Penguins," says Variety.

Richard & Florence Atwater wrote the book which follows a house painter with dreams of exploring the Arctic. Gifts from a real explorer and the zoo soon lead to him becoming the owner of a litter of a dozen penguins.

He forms them into a stage act and takes them on tour, where they proceed to cause mayhem at each stop.

Sean Anders and John Morris, ("Sex Drive") are writing the script adaptation.
