Production on The Hobbit: Part and Part 2 has been pushed back again after director Peter Jackson was admitted to Wellington New Zealand Hospital on Wednesday night with strong stomach pains reports Heat Vision.
Jackson had emergency surgery to treat a Perforated Ulcer according to a statement
He is said to be resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery.
"Sir Peter's surgery is not expected to impact on his directing commitment to The Hobbit beyond a slight delay to the start of filming," according to the same statement.
Filming was scheduled to start sometime in February.
