Eva Green is in talks to join the cast of Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" says Variety.
Based on the cult TV Series the spooky soap-opera featured gothic horror staples like vampires, ghosts and zombies.
Johnny Depp is attached to play Barnabas Collins, the vampire patriarch of the series.
Green would portray the temptress Angelique, a role played Lara Parker in the original.
Bella Heathcote also stars a waitress who resembles Collins' long-lost love. Jackie Earle Haley is talks to join the film too says Deadline and Variety.
Seth Grahame-Smith has penned the script while Depp, Graham King, Richard Zanuck, Christi Dembrowski and David Kennedy are producing.
Shooting kicks off this Spring for a 2012 release.
