Steve Carell has lined up another film as he prpares to leave his TV gig The Office in May.
He has signed on to star in the drama "Dogs of Babel" says Variety.
Carell would play a linguistics professor who finds his wife dead and police rule it an accident. The only witness is his dog and in his grief-stricken state the doubting professor tries to teach the animal to talk.
Recently Carell joined the cast of Great Hope Springs
Jamie Linden (Ten Year We Are Marshall),is adapting the best-selling novel of the same name.
A director is being sought
Carell, David Heyman, , Corey May and M. Dooma Wendschuh are producing.
