Tony Todd who starred in both Final Destination and Final Destination 2 tells Dread Central that should the upcoming Final Destination 5 do well, the film series will continue Talking about his role in FD5, Todd says "They expanded my part, and the producer told me as we were leaving Vancouver that if it opens at Number 1 – which statistically it has – they’re going to shoot the next two simultaneously."

The major disaster in this latest sequel is a suspension bridge collapse.
