Even as the release of book based flick I Am Number Four happens on Feb 18th--Star Alex Pettyfer may ditch one novel inspired pic for another says Vulture
Last week Pettyfer was in talks for a film adaptation of Cassandra Clare's supernatural novel series The Mortal Instruments.
Those negotiations have reached an impasse and Pettyfer won't do the pic confirmed this week by an open casting call that was announced for the role he was intended to play.
