Kennedy Compound

Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan and rising young actor Miles Fisher ("Final Destination 5") have joined the cast of Clint Eastwood's biopic "J. Edgar" reports Deadline.




The story focuses on Hoover's long checkered career and controversial private life.

Donovan plays J. Edgar Hoover''s rival Robert F. Kennedy and will shoot his scenes next week.

This marks his second time working with Eastwood after previously appearing in the director's Changeling".

Fisher will play Agent Garrison, an FBI  man who interviews Hoover at different points throughout the movie.

The cast also includes Leonardo DiCaprio as Hoover himself, Armie Hammer as his alleged lover Clyde Tolson, Josh Lucas as aviator Charles Lindbergh Ken Howard as Attorney General Harlan F. Stone Ed Westwick as the author of Hoover's biography,  Damon Herriman as Bruno Hauptmann Judi Dench and Naomi Watts as Helen Gandy

Eastwood, Brian Grazer  Ron Howard and Rob Lorenz are producing the biopic.

Donovan just finished helming the TV movie "Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe" which airs April 17th, and starts shooting the fifth season of 'Burn' on March 21st.

Donovan has certinly come a long way since he did the horrid sequel Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 has he not?
