DreamWorks Studios made a pre-emptive buy for Jonathan Tropper's pitch about the demise of Kodachrome photography reports Variety
The deal includes the rights to a NY Times article about the closing of the last lab that processed Kodachrome film, a few years ago.
The story will morph into a narrative of a father-son road trip following the pair's trek across the country to reach the lab and process their last remaining photos before they’re gone forever.
The film may be a potential directing vehicle for Shawn Levy.
