Easy A and Friends with Benefits helmer Will Gluck is in talks to develop a film adaptation of author Ben Mezrich new book Sex on the Moon: according toThe Los Angeles Times.

The story tracks the wild escapades of 25-year-old NASA intern Thad Roberts who, in an effort to impress a girl, orchestrated a plan to steal lunar rocks from the Johnson Space Center and sell them online.

The Social Network team of Scott Rudin, Michael De Luca, and Dana Brunetti will produce the pic with Kevin Spacey serving as executive producer.

 Mezrich's book The Accidental Billionaires was the basis used for "The Social Network" film.

Moon will hit stores on July 12. No production schedule was revealed for the film adaptation

I hope Gluck can somehow bring Emma Stone along for the ride...
