Monkey Bread

After several release date changes the planned prequel/reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise has undergone yet another title change says CBM

Originally the movie was caled ‘Caesar’, referring Roddy McDowall’s ape in Conquest of the Planet of The Apes and Battle For the Planet of The Apes and who in this reboot is the first intelligent ape. Then it became "Caesar: Rise of the Apes" and finally "Rise of the Apes"

Now, it has been renamed "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", which is in keeping with the rest of the franchise,  You will probably see the title on the first movie trailer, which is expected to hit theaters on Friday April 15th

The story focuses on a scientist (James Franco) working on an Alzheimer's cure being tested on apes. The test subject named Caesar evolves rapidly, forcing the scientist to take him home and live with him to protect him from cruel doctors

Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the film  also stars Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Tom Felton, Brian Cox and Andy Serkis

Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa wrote the screenplay and produced with Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark

The Apes Rise on August 5th
