“Snake and Mongoose” Biopic in the Works

Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen and Don "The Snake" Prudhomme were huge rivals in the drag-racing scene, and now the two will get their own biopic.

Variety reports that Robin Broidy and Stephen Nemeth look to take production duties on Snake and Mongoose, which will chronicle “not only […] rivalry but [also] how the two revolutionized the sport in the '70s by enticing toymaker Mattel into making its then-new Hot Wheels the sport's first major corporate sponsor.”
