Dan Fogelman is one of Hollywood’s most notable screenwriters at the moment. Though he’s not a household name, he penned the scripts for Bolt and Tangled, among others, and he also wrote the upcoming summer release Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Now he’s looking to write a script about a politician trying to make amends after being “caught in an affair”. Tom Cruise will lead the film, and Deadline Hollywood reports that Warner Bros. won the film in a 7-figure deal.
The project hasn’t been written yet, but Fogelman’s done great work in the past. Additionally, this could be a great role for Cruise, whose next film Rock of Ages might also do well.
How do you feel about this deal?
