Weed Whacked

The great Lauren Weedman  ("Date Night," "Imagine That") has joined the cast of the Judd Apatow-produced comedy Five-Year Engagement says The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will follow two people (Jason Segel, Emily Blunt) who fall in love and then proceed to work through a five year engagement.

 Weedman plays a hard-nosed head chef at the restaurant at which Segel works

Alison Brie, Chris Pratt and Rhys Ifans also star.

Nicholas Stoller directs from a script he co-wrote with Segel.

 The film was expected to start production towards the end of April.but there's no confirmation that that is still the case
