From Supergirl To Salesgirl

The very lovely Laura Vandervoort has joined the cast of Seth MacFarlane's feature film directorial debut the comedy "Ted" says Deadline.

The story revolves around a thirty-something Boston man (Mark Wahlberg) whose childhood teddy bear came to life and is now a cursing, smoking, delinquent that prevents the man from maturing.

Vandervoort will play Tayna, a gorgeous salesgirl and a coworker of John (Mark Wahlberg) at the rental car service who is clueless to the gaggle of men who drool over her all day.

Giovanni Ribisi Jessica Stroup Mila Kunis Joel McHale and Patrick Warburton also star.

MacFarlane directs, and co-wrote the film with his Family Guy staffers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.

MacFarlane, Scott Stuber and John Jacobs are set to produce the pic.
