"Suits" co-star Tom Lipinski has joined the cast of the comedy "Labor Day" says Variety.
Based on author Joyce Maynard's book--the action is set on a late summer Labor Day holiday weekend in the 1980s, the story follows a divorced, depressed single mom (Kate Winslet) out shopping with her 13-year-old son Henry when they encounter a large, fearsome and bleeding man named Frank (Josh Brolin). He asks for a ride and against their better judgment they agree, later learning the police are searching their town for an escaped convict.
Lipinski will play a younger version of Brolin's character in the film.
He really does resemble Brolin--it's sorta freaky....
Jason Reitman will direct using his adapted script, and will co-produce the film with Helen Estabrook Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith.
Production begins in June
