A RED BAND trailer for the action comedy sequel "22 Jump Street", the follow up to the 2012 blockbuster is here...
As a fan of the first film--I find myself just giddy over the prospect of the sequel
Jonah Hill and co-star Channing Tatum are back both in front of the camera and as executive producers.
Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are also back to call action and are working on the script with Michael Bacall and Oren Uziel.
The action switches from High School to College as officers Schmidt
(Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) deal with the next stage in terms of their
mission and their friendship.
Wyatt Russell – son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn plays a frat brother who befriends Tatum but comes under suspicion of criminal activity. Ice Cube is set to reprise his role as Captain Dickson. Amber Stevens, who starred on TV's “Greek,” is set to play Hill’s love interest in the film. Craig Roberts will play a character named Spencer.
Neal H. Moritz produces the pic.
Production is currently underway to meet a June 2014 release.
BE WARNED THE FOOTAGE INCLUDES DIALOGUE AND INTENSE IMAGES THAT ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR MINORS....PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK
When I saw the title, I was like "What, did they move across the street or something?" Apparently! Either way, I loved the original, and I will look forward to this.
