No writer has been hired yet but Marvel is hoping to keep the good buzz of the first sequel going by having the Russos involved in the development of the story. The suits usually wait for opening weekend box office numbers before moving on hiring key creative talent but its aggressive plans for phase three slate as well as the strong early word on the movie have expedited the usual timetable.
Chris Evans will return as the star spangled hero.
"Captain America 2" launches first in the UK and parts of Europe on March 26th ahead of a major global release (including the U.S.) the following week on April 3rd & 4th.
