Joe Johnston Will Oversee Our "Extinction"

Joe Johnston ("Captain America: The First Avenger," "Jurassic Park III") is in talks to direct the sci-fi movie "Extinction" says Heat Vision.

The story centers on man trying to save his family during an alien invasion.

Spenser Cohen, an up-and-coming screenwriter previously sold three spec scripts to major studios between 2011 and 2012 wrote this script.

David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing the film
