Ian McShane has joined "The Man on Carrion Road" says Screen.
The story follows a botched Mexican cartel deal on the
back roads of a border town. Patrick Wilson ("The Conjuring," "Watchmen") will portray a sheriff who must team
up with the retired lawman (McShane) he replaced to investigate the mysterious
brutalization of the town’s residents.
Wilson replaced Timothy Olyphant who had to vacate the role due to scheduling conflicts with his TV series "Justified".
Gonzalo López-Gallego (“Apollo 18″) will call action from a script by Nils Lyew.
William Green and Aaron Ginsburg of Atlas Independent will produce the movie Andy Horwitz will exec produce.
Production begins in April.
