The film is based on the novella "Lady Susan" by author Jane Austen--The story follows a widow (Miller) in search of two husbands – one for herself and one for her daughter. She she soon embarks on a relationship with a married man.
Sevigny plays a close friend of Miller's character.
Whit Stillman's set to call action using an adapted script that he wrote
