Saoirse Ronan and Cynthia Nixon have joined the psychological thriller "Stockholm, Pennsylvania" says Deadline.
The story follows a developmentally disabled young woman raised (Ronan) by a
kidnapper (Jason Isaacs) who now struggles to acclimate to her actual parents after
twenty years of separation.
Nixon and David Warshofsky play the girl's grief-stricken parents, who go to extreme lengths to recapture their daughter's love.
Nikole Beckwith's script is adapted from a play, from which she makes her feature directorial debut
Greg Ammon is producing the film.
Production begins next week in Los
Angeles.
