The story follows two warring brothers from Shetland who set out on a road trip to Glasgow in order to bring back one of the boy's girlfriend for Europe’s largest fire festival. On the journey both boys fall for a free-spirited girl who dreams of becoming a singer.
Raymond Friel and Derek Boyle wrote the script from which episodic TV director Philip John makes his feature film debut.
Alexandra Roach (Cuban Fury, The Iron Lady) and Jack Lowden (The Tunnel) are also attached to star in the film.
Kathy Proctor will produce the pic.
The film begins shooting late this summer.
