The final trailer for "Brick Mansions," the U.S. remake of the French hit "Banlieue 13" (aka. "District B13") is here...As good as the film looks--It's still bittersweet...It marks the final completed film starring actor Paul Walker who was killed last Fall in a tragic car crash half way through production of James Wan's Fast & Furious 7....
The action follows a detective (Paul Walker) trying to track down a stolen weapon of mass destruction that a ruthless drug warlord (Rapper/actor/director RZA AKA Robert Diggs) has hidden in the ghetto dubbed Brick Mansions. He enlists the help of Lino (David Belle), a fearless man who knows the area like the back of his hand.
Belle starred in the original and invented the sport of Parkour which is used heavily throughout the pic and its 2009 sequel District 13: Ultimatum
Catalina Denis plays the girlfriend of the dealer who is kidnapped by the overlord.
Luc Besson and his "Taken" co-scribe Robert Mark Kamen wrote the script. Camille Delamarre, a protege of Besson, directed the film.
Besson, Tucker Tooley and Ryan Kavanaugh produced the pic.
The film will be released on April 25th 2014
