Fox Will Take You On A "Thrill Ride"

Deadline reports that Neighbors screenwriters Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O'Brien have sold an original pitch to Fox called Thrill Ride which they both plan to direct.

This horror comedy, which is likened to This Is the End meets "Scream", follows a group of students at a school where bullying has become an everyday occurrence. The school rents out an amusement park for Senior Night, where the kids can experience all of the rides and games without the hassle of long lines. When students begin to die in complex ways, they learn a serial killer is stalking all of the different senior bullies and other bad seeds at school, forcing opposing cliques to join forces and stop this killer before it's too late.

 Peter Warren is writing the screenplay.

Cohen and O'Brien and Peter Chernin will produce the film.
