Heat Vision reports that Constantin Films has picked up the film rights to Dark Horse Comics' spy thriller graphic novel "Polar: Came From the Cold" .
The story centers on Black Kaiser, a master assassin forced out of retirement when he finds himself the target of a motley crew of a new generation of killers. Kaiser also has a "doting and protective relationship with the child of one of his former marks."
Jayson Rothwell is drafting the adapted script. No director is attached yet,
Robert Kulzer, Jeremy Bolt, Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg will produce.
Production hopes to begin in the Spring.
