Former Focus Features chief James Schamus will make his film directorial debut on "Indignation" says Variety.
An adaptation of author Philip Roth's novel, the 1950s set story focuses on
the son of a kosher butcher who struggles to adjust to life in an Ohio
college. Added to that are solid doses of anti-Semitism and sexual
repression.
Schamus and Anthony Bregman will produce the film.
Production is set to shoot in New York next summer.
