Miles Teller In Talks For Webb's "The Only Living Boy"

Variety says that "Whiplash" star Miles Teller is poised to star in the long-gestating indie coming-of-age tale "The Only Living Boy in New York".

The film follows a young man who learns that his overbearing father is having an affair. The son tries to stop it, only to become involved with the woman as well.With advice from a quirky neighbor, the young man learns about love.

Allan Loeb penned the screenplay from which "The Amazing Spider-Man" helmer Marc Webb's set to direct.

Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa are producing the pic.

At one time Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief star Logan Lerman were attached to do the film.
