Based on the book of the same name--the true story follows Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) a wealthy art dealer struggling to save his crumbling marriage to his wife Debbie (Renee Zellweger) who forms an unexpected friendship with a drifter living (Djimon Hounsou) on the streets.
Holt will play Regan, the daughter of Ron and Debbie.
Jon Voight plays Hall's Dad.
Michael Carney will direct here using an adapted screenplay he co-wrote with Alexander Foard and Hall.
Mary Parent Cale Boyter Darren Moorman, Stephen Johnson and Hall are producing.
Chris Bancroft, Hans Graffunder, Carney and Foard will executive produce the film.
Production is currently underway in Jackson, Mississippi
