Scott Waugh Charts "Inversion"

Variety reports that Scott Waugh ("Need for Speed," "Act of Valor") is in final talks to direct the big-budget sci-fi action movie "Inversion".

The story follows a young Chinese scientist and a street-smart American expat who race to save Earth from an apocalyptic threat - a gravity reversal causing civilizations to uproot and plummet into the sky.

Bragi Schut and David Arata (“Children of Men”) wrote the script.

Michael Nozik, Markus Barmettler and Philip Lee will produce the film.

Production begins in April.
