The story follows Butchie Jones (Mackie), a football star who wants to grant the final wish of a dying fourteen-year-old who adores the athelete. It’s not an easy wish, though; the kid wants the football star to help him score with a girl before he dies.
"Dear White People" director Justin Simien is attached to call action here based on the Black Listed script by Zach Frankel.
Jason Spire and Bob Teitel are producing the film.
